For more than 20 years now the Regional Development Agency Joint Stock Company (Agencja Rozwoju Regionalnego S.A.) in Zielona Góra has been conducting its activity for the purpose of promoting and supporting entrepreneurship in the Lubuskie Voivodship. It was founded in 1993 in the form of a joint stock company. Its main shareholder is the Self-Government of the Lubuskie Voivodship represented by the Voivodship Marshal.
Since 2004 the Regional Development Agency Joint Stock Company in Zielona Góra has been fulfilling the function of the Regional Financing Institution (RFI) for the Lubuskie Voivodship and it is the principal partner of the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development (PAED) in the implementation of national programmes intended for entrepreneurs. Within the scope of the agreement with PAED we are responsible for contracting and accounting EU subsidies forwarded to entrepreneurs from the lubuskie region.
In 2004 at the Regional Development Agency Joint Stock Company the Lubuskie Loan Fund (LLF) was established. The Fund grants loans for investment and operational purposes to micro, small and medium-sized economic subjects. In the whole loan period there are fixed interest rates. The Fund most of all supports enterprises which cannot obtain financing in the banking sector. The Lubuskie Loan Fund is carrying out a few projects, including the project named “Contribute money to the idea” financed from the “Human Capital” Operational Programme intended for individuals who are planning to start their own business activity. The participants may make use of specialist training free of charge in the field of starting and conducting an economic activity as well as of advisory services provided by trainers and experts from various areas.
Within the scope of its activity the Regional Development Agency Joint Stock Company provides financing, advisory, training and information services for entrepreneurs and for Territorial Self-Government Units. The Agency is also involved in the implementation of many projects financed by EU funds. We cooperate with the Self-Government of the Lubuskie Voivodship with respect to attaining the goals of the Voivodship Development Strategy and the Lubuskie Regional Innovation Strategy.
We are an active participant of the National Service System – a network supporting entrepreneurship, a member of the Lubuskie Region Employers’ Organisation, Western Chamber of Industry and Commerce, Polish Association of Loan Funds, as well as the Lubuskie Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Cluster.
